St. Timothy’s School

With a movement toward student-centered and personalized instruction, St. Timothy's School engaged Maureen Carroll and Lime Design Associates to assist faculty in using Design Thinking to tackle next generation curriculum redesign incorporating 21 Century skills. Work is being done around the ways that students engage with information and interact with curricular materials. The school adopted the Diploma Program of IB as the curriculum in 2007. The school is now in the process of implementing the Middle Years Program within the IB. The faculty is working with students to better understand and enhance learning outcomes. Several academic departments are using Design Thinking as a way of enhancing learning in the classroom through class projects.
