At Gould Academy's “Lead, Innovate, and Make Summer Camp” you will cultivate the skills needed to engage in this exciting era of innovation, discover your leadership skills, and develop your capacity to make.
This exciting summer camp opportunity is open to girls and boys in grades 8 through 12 and takes place in Gould Academy's new Marlon Family IDEAS Center which stands for Innovation, Design, Entrepreneurship, Arts, and Science. Within the IDEAS Center is the Design Thinking Studio—the hub for all collaborative work with wall upon wall of moveable whiteboards not to mention plenty of flexible furniture. Connected to the Design Thinking Studio is a Digital Studio that boasts 3D printers, a laser cutter, large format printer, and a vinyl cutter; a Physical Fabrication Studio with CNC routers, a band saw, table saw, and a drill press; and a Recording Studio complete with musical instruments, microphones, and sophisticated recording software.
