Ekya Schools

Ekya Schools is a group of independent schools located in Bangalore, India. Our aim is to combine the best resources and practices to create an environment that nurtures students and teachers who are joyful learners and innovative problem-solvers equipped to tackle the challenges of the future. We conduct 6-8 weeks long, campus-wide Design Thinking projects where independent student teams tackle relevant human-centered challenges such as ‘How might we better integrate the elderly into Bangalore’s society?’ and ‘How might we solve the garbage problem in Bangalore to improve the lives of citizens?’. We are currently working towards incorporating Design Thinking into all aspects of our curriculum.
