East Bay School for Boys

At EBSB, we pair modes of design thinking with the practice of building to create engaging classrooms for boys. We use design thinking/building (db) in our faculty and leadership team meetings, as well as the development of curricular units (from content integration to student-designed grading rubrics). We use db to build empathy toward making connections among ideas, contents, objects, and one another. We’ve created various tools to make db a part of our day-to-day practices at school.
